PANNARITSARA CHUENJITRABHIRAMON​

GCD’s Founder and CEO, is an expert in international migration and sustainable development and has decades of experience planning, developing, and coordinating mega-global projects, including the 2005 Aichi World Expo and the 2002 Johannesburg World Summit on Sustainable Development for the Department of Economic and Social Affaris of the United Nations’ Headquarter in New York (UN DESA), to name just a few.

 

She is a graduate of Thammasat University in Thailand and has Master’s degrees from the University of Tokyo, where she received a Monbusho (Japanese Government) Scholarship, and Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), where she was a Dean’s Scholar. She is fluent in Japanese, English, and Thai, and has comprehensive experience working with different levels of people and different types of organizations in Japan, Thailand, USA and other ASEAN countries.

 

Ms. Chuenjitrabhiramon has worked for the Government of Japan on several international projects and has long-standing relationships with senior government officials and corporate executives of leading Japanese firms. While studying in Japan, she also worked at the Japan Broadcasting Corporation (Nippon Hoso Kyokai, NHK) as news announcer for Radio Japan and served as a coordinator for TV documentary programs for over five years. She has also worked for a number of Japanese Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Research Institutes such as the University of Tokyo and the Asian Research Center for Migration at Chulalongkorn University and was actively involved with research and studies on international labour migration and human trafficking.

 

She has also worked extensively on projects sponsored and supported by the Thai Government and the Thai royal family. She served as one of the first few working committee members to conduct research for an international project, “Enhancing the Lives of Female Inmates” (ELFI), sponsored by the Ministry of Justice and promoted by Her Royal Highness Princess Bhajara Kittiyabha Mahidol, and enjoys a sterling reputation in her home country. For 6 years, she also served as an Executive Vice President (EVP) with Building 33 Co., Ltd., a preeminent Thai construction company that has forged a strong reputation constructing quality buildings for commercial, private, and governmental usage, including hospitals and university buildings. Building 33’s track record for completing major projects on time and within budget is noteworthy. As EVP, Ms. Chuenjitrabhiramon was instrumental in developing the necessary protocols and procedures to qualify the public issuance of Building 33’s shares, enabling the company to go public in an IPO on the Thai Stock Exchange.

SIRINTHRA PUARATANA-ARUNKORN​

Chief Financial Officer, is an experienced professional who has worked extensively in Japan’s financial industry and is fluent in Japanese, English and Thai. She began her career at MTEC, a think-tank of Mitsubishi Bank Trust and Banking Corporation, worked as summer associate for Merrill Lynch & Co., and then moved to AXA Rosenberg Investment Management (Japan), where she served from 2003 to 2010 as Head Portfolio Manager. She possesses strong quantitative skills and technical experience, and has a deep knowledge of financial markets in both Japan and Thailand. She received Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Finance from Hitotsubashi University as a Monbusho (Government of Japan) Scholar, and an MBA degree in Finance and Econometrics from the University of Chicago’s Booth Business School. She is also certified as a CFA and served as a board member of the CFA Society of Japan.

VEERACHAI CHUENCHOMPOONUT​

Chief Legal Officer, is a renowned global business lawyer with expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), banking and finance, capital markets and securities, and construction and power projects.  He is currently Counsel at a reputed global law firm with offices in the US, Europe, and Asia.  His expertise in key commercial areas, which also includes double tax policies, will greatly strengthen GCD’s operational capacities.  He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Thammasat University and LLM degrees from Cornell School of Law and University College London, where he was a Chevening Scholar.

PISIT CHARATKERDSAKUL​

Chief Marketing Officer, will direct the company’s marketing and branding programs.  He has a passion for marketing and extensive experience with several major Thai firms, including Siam Cement Group, Premsita, and Elite Land Co., Ltd. He holds a BA degree in Economics from Thammasat University and an MA in Marketing Management from the National Institute of Development Administration of Thailand (NIDA).  He also holds a Diploma in Architecture and Real Estate from Chulalongkorn University.

NIWAT THANPITINAN 

is a Structural Engineer and has spent his over 27 years as a professional consultant and owner representative for projects in Thailand and several countries. Niwat is a Chulalongkorn University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and holds a master’s degree in Computer and Engineering Management from Assumption University (ABAC). His working experiences span design, construction supervision, and project management for various types of projects. Apart from many large-scale residential, commercial, and multi-use projects, he has worked for two mega-projects in Thailand: the first Bangkok Underground Metro and Suvarnabhumi Airport. With his versatile qualifications, he has also taken challenges to handle construction projects in London, Dubai, Mumbai, and Hokkaido. Niwat is now a Committee Member of the Consulting Engineers Association of Thailand (CEAT), the Working Committee for the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), and the Expert Panel for the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT). With his extensive experience as a professional consultant both locally and internationally, Niwat also acts as a corporate advisor for several listed companies. In the academic world, he has been a frequently invited speaker for the Council of Engineers (COE), the Engineering Institute of Thailand (EIT), several universities as well as public and private organizations. 

PANIT PUJINDA

Dr.-Ing. Panit Pujinda is Associate Professor in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Faculty of Architecture at Chulanlongkorn University and the Founder and Managing Director of MetroScape Co. Ltd., an urban planning and design firm based in Bangkok.

Dr. Pujinda is a distinguished expert in his field and has served on boards and committees of leading institutions and organizations in Thailand and elsewhere, including the Bangkok Municipal Administration, the Thai Parliament, and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

From 1998 to the present, he has served as an Urban Planning Specialist and Project Team Leader for more than thirty major urban projects, primarily in Greater Bangkok but also in several provinces around Thailand.

He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Chulalongkorn University, a Master of Regional Planning from the State University of New York-Albany (USA), and a Doctor of Engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt (Germany).
